SlumDog Millionaire - Indian Father Attempts to Sell SlumDog Star

Oh gee what a surprise... Poor Indian children were exploited for the gain of Hollywood? Sputter!  No it can't be!  Why, they promised her family a HOUSE. Sort of reminds me of how American businesses are currently exploiting CHEAP LABOR in India in ALL SECTORS of our businesses.  It's a sad footnote in reality whereas the Hollywood version of being lucky in India and making it big is not the reality.

Before you jump to the wrong conclusion that I support outsourcing jobs to India, let me just say that on one hand I think it is wrong to exploit people in poor countries as many businesses in this country do and I also think it is wrong to bypass Americans for jobs when your business is based in the US.  When are Americans going to have their "Slumdog Millionaire" lucky moment?

And so far, the Indian experiment of using people of a different culture to do American jobs just is not working out. More and more Americans every day are refusing to cooperate with companies who outsource American jobs to India. The pendulum is swinging back for a correction at long last.

Now I have not seen this movie nor do I intend to. It's typical Hollywood PAP that is as empty as the popcorn you might munch on while watching it. There's no "meaning" - there is no value and now, with the reality as a backdrop, it reveals the sham even more.

Bout time I say...
